Sharing Session by Wong Yu Jin
I am fortunate and grateful that I have been given an opportunity to attend a 3 hours Heath Booster talk by Wong Ju Jin. Below are what I learnt from him: How to counter after lunch sleepy effect. The reason why most of us feel sleepy after lunch is due to the sugar level in our body. If we eat a lot of carbs, something sweet (sugar), etc then that will increase the sugar level in our body. And once it exceeded the maximum level which the body will see as danger, then it will produce insulin to reduce the sugar. It is the sudden drop of sugar level that caused us to feel sleepy. Diet: Maybe half an hour before lunch, eat an apple. This will make us a little filling, so during lunch we can eat less. And eat till you feel 70% full, then can stop. But then, as we eat less and it will make us feel hungry after few hours. Then can eat other healthier snacks like fruits, nuts and etc to replenish the energy. […]
Pre-Market Checklist – Futures
Futures – Sideway, Bullish or Bearish Everyday before the market open, most of the traders will have a pre-market checklist to go thru. For me, the first ones in my checklist is the Futures. It will give me some initial sentiment of the market when it open. I will look at the index Futures of all the main indexes which are DJIA, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000. One of my favorite free website which I can have one glance of all the futures I needed is Finviz.com – Futures under Futures. And what I like from this is the one glance of the futures of Indexes, Energy, Commodity and Currencies. From the futures, it will prepare me whether my focus on Go Long, Go Short or Do Nothing when the market open. Of course, to survive in this business we need to be Flexible as the direction of the market can change at anytime and we have to reverse our trades or strategy accordingly.
Commitment is a promise that we make to someone or ourselves. Imagine you have a friend that always break his promise to you. Will you still trust him? To most people, the trust will be broken. Now back to ourselves, if we have commit / promise to do certain things and yet we never do it, eventually will you still trust yourself? Can you now see the danger or risk of breaking our commitment / promise to ourselves? So from now on, keep our commitment / promise and together we will improve our life.
Same Time, Difference Place
On last dinner gathering with some friends, below are one of the dishes that we could’t not finish it due to too full. After all of us (9 of us) have taken our portion, it still left half the pot. I wish I can eat more, so there is no food wastage but I really could not take any more. At that moment, I was thinking to myself, at that moment, at that time, there are other people in different places that are in hunger, that are so wish to have rice to eat. And yet, we have so much unfinished food. Minimize food wastage and always feel Grateful that we have food on the table and stop being picky about food.

Hiking Broga Hill
The first time I went to Broga Hill was 5 years ago, and I only managed to reach the 1st peak. As the journey was too tiring :p Today, I went to Broga Hill for the second time after so many years. Again, I wanted to stop at the 1st peak as it was tiring. But thanks to our hiking team lead, SCS that he keep motivate me and make me move on to the 2nd peak and finally the last peak 🙂 Beside SCS, I will also need to thanks to others friends that been thru it together to the top. Compare to the first time I came, there was not many people at that time. Today, the parking in the palm oil estate was full of cars and got to pay parking which costs RM 2 per entry. There are also stalls that selling drinks and simple foods with one stall selling shirts. It is like so commercial already. Below are some of the images captured with my Sony Xperia smartphone. Will this Broga Hill hiking is the start […]
