Have you ever come so close to death that you think “Money no longer matters”?

Sometimes I see others chasing after monetary gains at the expense of their health and would continue to work their bones out until their health suffers. And when that happens, they begin to try to ‘mend’ back their health with the money that they have so painstakingly earned in the first place. That is also the moment when they are willing to fork out all they have and “Money no longer matters”.

For those who have never been very sick, you probably will never think of this statement. I have and I know that no matter how much money I can have today, it will not guarantee that I will be healthy enough to be happy with the money I have. So, I now start to live one day at a time and money is just something that I need to sustain my life. Never mind if I don’t live in a big house or drive a fancy car. At the end of the day, I just want to be happy and I shall dictate how I want to be happy.
