You can use a screen filter/protector that is anti-blue light for your digital gadgets like smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This is more ideal if your children do not like to wear glasses. The drawback is you have to purchase the screen filter/protector for each of the gadgets and also future gadgets if you are changing it.
