Kuang is a town in the Gombak district of Selangor, Malaysia. Its main importance in older times was the starting of the railway branch to Batu Arang from the mainline of Malayan Railways. Today, Kuang’s main industry is cement distribution for the CIMA Company. There is a successful HS Nada cow farm located at Kampung Gombak. Kuang has one of the largest polo field in Asia. It was an important venue for polo during the Commonwealth Games in 1998. There is also a lake called Tasik Biru (Blue Lake), which is located at Seri Kundang. The Malaysia Bible Seminary is also located in Kuang. Kuang’s calm and peaceful surrounding attracts some non-locals to build their homes and recreation centres here, near Kampung Sungai Serai.
This noodle stall which located in Kuang, is run by a Thais lady. There is one Chinese man, I guess is her husband. They sell some noodles like wan tan noodle, noodle soup and tom yam. The price is still cheap, a bowl of my favourite Loh See Fun soup and Mice Ice costs about RM 6.20. The soup based was tasty with a good portion of ingredients like minced pork, pork meat and pork ball.
Updates on 14.July.2014 : Went for breakfast on this morning, the food quality is not standard. So far I have been there for about 6 times, 2 out of it the soup based is not nice, less tasty. And today the Loh See Fun look weird in term of the shape :p
