My Day at the Alpha Experience 2025

Sony Alpha Experience 2025

It have been a decade I did not attend any Sony Alpha conference or workshop. Today, I had the chance to attend Alpha Experience 2025, and it was nothing short of inspiring. The event is all about celebrating creativity, innovation, and the power of visual storytelling—and being surrounded by so many passionate creators made the whole experience even more exciting.

From the moment I stepped in, I was immersed in a world of photography, videography, and filmmaking. Some of the biggest names in the industry were there, sharing not just their technical expertise, but also their personal journeys and creative philosophies. Listening to them talk about their craft and watching live demonstrations gave me fresh ideas and new perspectives. And the speakers are very passionate in their work, that really inspire me.

Of course, one of the highlights was trying out the latest Sony Alpha gear. The Touch & Try zones were a dream for anyone who loves experimenting with new equipment, and the Sony Alpha specialists were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the features and techniques. And the Sony A7C II is beautiful, same powerful full frame sensor in a smaller body.

Creative Perspectives in Street Photography

I managed to attend this presentation by Tavepong Pratoomwong, a street photographer who has won some awards. He is from Thailand, and his works are really inspiring. He shared how he envisions the shots, and some shots took him a few days in order to capture what he envisioned. But sometimes he will also get some surprises from the shots he took while waiting for what he envisioned. You can follow him on Instagram here. Check it out; it is very nice and inspiring.

I Want To Be a Better Photographer

I read a few pages of the book Think & Trade Like A Champion by Mark Minervini today in the car, while waiting for 1 pm registration begin. Mark mentioned one goal at a time, as we need to fully focus to become mastery. I was thinking to myself after the Creative Perspectives in Street Photography talks that I want to focus back into photography to capture good photos but after I achieve my current goal of becoming a master trader first. Then I can focus back into landscape photography and perhaps also street photography. : )
